ARTICLE XIV - DISCIPLINARY ACTION AGAINST ACTS OF AGRESSION

In the event any person threatens with aggression, (including but not limited to: physical harm, threat to kill, etc.) on any church property, another person the Pastoral staff and Board of Deacons will:

  1. Report incident to law enforcement agencies.

  2. Ask investigators to determine an order of events.

  3. Meet with all parties concerned.

  4. Notify the Department of Health & Human Services to initiate an evaluation of the person doing the threatening.

  5. Notify the aggressor to refrain from attending any services of LBC until an evaluation has been concluded and that person has been proven to no longer pose a threat to LBC or any of its congregation.

Any attempt to carry out a threat will result in the arrest and prosecution of the offender.
