Make-Up Work

If a student misses class for an excused absence, he/she is to secure missed class work from their teacher or a fellow student and complete it within a reasonable period of time, as designated by their teacher (usually this would mean one day of makeup time for each day missed). It is the responsibility of the student and/or parents to secure missed homework and make-up tests when absent from school. If make-up work is not completed within the set time, the student will receive a "0" for incomplete work.

When a student is absent from school, the office occasionally receives requests for assignments that the parent will pick up later in the day. If class and/or homework assignments are to be requested, the parent must contact the school prior to 10:00 AM.
